Home Sick
When I was little and in school, sick days were always a mixed blessing. I was sick, but I wasn't in school. Luckily, there were very few of them, but still the duality of those days tormented me. Now that I'm older, I take great care in deciding to stay home from work for a sick day. It means more work the next day and that I must be feeling really lousy (generally due to allergies). So, since I have angst and phlem, I might as well blog it.
It will be interesting to see if I can keep up with this thing. I've never been very good with journals and diaries. However, there seems to be enough going on in the world for me to find something of interest to comment on nearly everyday. So, again, we have the blog and a lot of very good intentions.
For example, as I was creating this blog, something struck me in the made up text used in the template samples. The words "phat" and "phey" were right next to each other. This made me wonder if there's new lingo out there that I'm not aware of. Is "phey" the new term used to describe effeminant, gangsta-rappers?
